Wedgwood Creamware Hunting Scene Pitcher

Glazed earthenware pitcher in a relief-molded hunting motif. The cream-colored body features a central light blue band decorated with white bas-relief figures depicting a fox hunt in a landscape with riders on horseback and hounds. A figural handle is molded in the form of a leaping hound. The rim and base are accented with hand-painted black pinstripes. The base is impressed with marks reading Wedgwood Made in England.
