Hand stitched Suzani from Uzbekistan depicting a vibrant 'tree of life' in shades of red, blue, salmon, cyan and mauve on a stunning Turquoise silk ground. Pomegranate 'fruit' and 'blossoms' in hues of blue, red, mauve, dusty pink, salmon, burnt orange and pale green are scattered throughout. Bordered with a floral motif. Flicker stitches in red and cream add depth and movement to this lively suzani.
