Stylized tulip motif in shades of creams, blues, reds, celadon, pink, violet, yellow and neutral on purple silk ground. Hand embroidered by one artist in a traditional chain stitch with flicker stitching adding depth, and movement to the design.

Bordered with a trailing floral motif and framed in maroon silk.
