Striking hand stitched Suzani from Uzbekistan depicting a central over scaled tulip and artichoke like plant with a lovely repetitive floral border. The silk hook stitches are in the shades of tomato, coral, cream, blue, pink, and gold on a dramatic hand loomed black silk ground.  Striped "flicker" stitches are used to crate depth and vibrancy.
