Hand stitched suzani from Uzbekistan containing 5 large medallions; one in each corner and the center, bordered in crimson flicker stitching with fish medallions and pinwheels. Each suzani contains fish, birds, vines, Botem "teardrops" and pinwheel motifs throughout the textile. The suzani's silk threads are shades of crimson, pink, salmon, and various shades of blue on gold straw silk ground.
